Mangaluru: K Prakash Shetty, founder and chairman of MRG Group, has inducted a 14-seater Embraer Legacy 650 business jet into the MRG family, marking a significant addition to the group’s expanding business ecosystem. The aircraft, acquired from the United States, was welcomed with traditional rituals and a special pooja ceremony at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) in the presence of Sri Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swami of Mantralaya. Family members, close associates and well-wishers of Shetty were present on the occasion.A leading hotelier and entrepreneur, Shetty has built MRG Group into a diversified enterprise with interests spanning hospitality, real estate and infrastructure. He has established and nurtured hospitality ventures across the country, earning recognition not only for his business acumen but also for his philanthropic initiatives.
