Bengaluru: With pre-monsoon showers lashing parts of the city over the past two days, Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (Bescom) issued an advisory urging citizens to follow electrical safety measures. The power utility cautioned people against going near damaged poles, snapped wires or tree branches that have fallen on electric lines due to strong winds and rain.
