Mangaluru: Surathkal police arrested two individuals for allegedly being in possession of MDMA on Thursday. The arrested were identified as Mohammad Arif Paizal,27, and Syed Mishal,20. Police said PSI Sudeep MV received information that two individuals were coming to the Katla Hill Side area in Surathkal on a scooter to peddle MDMA. Upon reaching the location, two individuals were found standing suspiciously near two scooters. They were apprehended, and during interrogation, both allegedly admitted to possessing MDMA on their scooters. From Mohammad Arif Paizal, 13.3g of MDMA, an iPhone 17 Pro Max and a scooter were seized. From Syed Mishal, 5.9g of MDMA, an iPhone 16 Pro and a scooter were confiscated. In total, 19.3g of MDMA, two mobile phones and two scooters, valued at Rs 4,70,000, were seized. A case was registered in this regard.
