Renukaswamy murder case trial to be heard four days a week

Bengaluru: The trial in the sensational Renukaswamy murder case allegedly involving actor Darshan, his friend Pavitra Gowda and 15 other accused is set to gather pace, with a sessions court agreeing to conduct hearings four days a week.During the proceedings Monday, special public prosecutor (SPP) P Prasanna Kumar urged the court to hear the case on a day-to-day basis, stressing that the prosecution is prepared for continuous trial proceedings. He pointed out that Supreme Court had directed that examination of 60 key witnesses be completed within a year and requested the court to avoid adjournments.SPP Kumar told TOI: “The court agreed to our plea to conduct a four-day trial in a week and, if necessary, five days.”
