BengaluruThe legislative assembly secretariat has issued a note citing that the sitting legislators and former legislators are allowing their personal assistants and guests to use the vehicles reserved for the MLAs at the state legislature house.In the note, it has been said that the legislature is facing an embarrassing situation where vehicles in an emergency for other MLAs seeking the govt vehicles do not have them at their disposal on account of it being utilised by personal assistants and guests of other MLAs.Furthermore, it has been observed by the legislature secretariat that the vehicles meant only within the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) limits are being taken out to other districts.Accordingly, it has urged the legislators to not misuse the vehicles at the disposal of MLAs only and also to ensure that they take the permission of the Assembly Speaker if it is required in an emergency for the vehicle to be driven outside Bengaluru city limits.Ends
