Mangaluru: The MCC Bank Limited, Mangaluru, has reported an operating profit of Rs 13 crore for the financial year 2025-26 and announced plans to expand its branch network to 25 during 2026-27, with new branches coming up at Deralakatte in Dakshina Kannada district and Katapady in Udupi district.Addressing reporters on Tuesday, bank chairman Anil Lobo said the bank, which completes 114 years of service this year, has recorded strong growth across key business indicators. The bank’s total business turnover rose to Rs 1,525 crore, marking a 23% increase. The turnover tripled from Rs 500 crore in 2018, to Rs 1,525 crore in 2026, when the current board took charge.The bank’s net worth increased to Rs 91.8 crore from Rs 83.7 crore in the previous year. Net NPAs were reduced to 1.25% of total advances, while the Provision Coverage Ratio stood at 68.8% of total NPAs. The Capital to Risk Assets Ratio was 17% as of March 31, 2026, above the regulatory requirement of 12%.During FY 2025-26, total deposits stood at Rs 872.8 crore, up 23.7% over the previous year, while total advances rose to Rs 652 crore, registering a growth of 21.7%. Working capital reached Rs 1,008.9crore, a growth of 21.5%, and share capital stood at Rs 34 crore.The bank has received approval to open its branches at Deralakatte, Katapady, Vamanjoor and Mangaluru.
