Bengaluru: A long-standing marital dispute culminated in tragedy after a 38-year-old man died by suicide following a heated confrontation involving his wife and her family.According to a complaint filed by Rajanna, the deceased’s father, his son Kumar RT, a graphic designer, had been married to Roopa for the past 15 years, and the couple have two children. However, differences between the husband and wife strained the relationship for several years.Rajanna alleged that on June 18, around 8.30pm, Roopa, accompanied by her family members and relatives, arrived at their residence and created a ruckus. The group allegedly assaulted Kumar and his mother, hurled abuse at his family, and humiliated them in front of villagers.Rajanna claimed the incident left his son distressed and humiliated. The following day, after having dinner, Kumar retired to his room. On June 20, around 4am, family found Kumar hanging.
