Bengaluru: Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) issued a fresh notification prescribing the fee structure for building construction approvals under GBA Act, including plan approvals, revised plan approvals and plinth certificates. The charges were earlier levied under BBMP Act and have now been re-notified following transition to the new legislation.According to the notification, fees will be calculated based on prevailing guidance value of the site and total built-up area of the building on a per square metre basis. The guidance value considered for calculation will not be less than Rs 50,000 per sqm.Inspection fee for plan approval has been fixed at 0.009% for residential buildings and 0.014% for non-residential and commercial ones.Basic amenities and environmental impact fee, applicable for a licence period of five years, has been fixed at 0.10% for residential buildings and 0.25% for non-residential and commercial structures. The fee for issuing a plinth certificate has been notified at 0.11% for residential buildings and 0.18% for non-residential and commercial ones.
