Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Capt Brijesh Chowta has urged the Union ministry of Law and Justice to lend its full administrative and policy support to appreciate the approval of a circuit bench of the high court and its subsequent transition into a permanent high court bench in Mangaluru.In a letter to the Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, the MP stated that the establishment of this bench will realise the constitutional promise of affordable, localised, and timely justice while significantly lowering the pendency burden on the principal bench in Bengaluru. .Chief justice of Karnataka high court, Justice Vibhu Bakhru has positively responded to the representations made by the action committee which fights for the high court bench, and Mangalore Bar Association, he added.
