Bengaluru: Coforge reported a strong start to FY27, with June-quarter revenue rising 33.3% year-on-year and 21.1% sequentially to $592.2 million. The growth was driven by robust demand for AI-led engineering, data and cloud services, along with continued momentum from the integration of US-based engineering services company Encora, which it acquired for $2.3 billion last year.Revenue included a $100.7 million contribution from Encora for two months. Excluding the exited India govt and data centre businesses, the company posted 5.2% sequential organic constant-currency growth, underscoring broad-based demand across its core verticals.Net profit rose 46% to $55.6 million, while the EBIT margin expanded 414 basis points year-on-year to 16%, ahead of the company’s full-year guidance of 15.5%.The executable order book for the next 12 months reached a record $2.2 billion, up 44% from a year earlier and 27% sequentially, providing strong revenue visibility. Quarterly order intake stood at $691 million, supported by four large deals across North America, Europe and Latin America.Chief executive Sudhir Singh said 86% of Coforge’s revenue now comes from AI-led engineering, data and cloud services, while the improvement in margins reflects the increasing adoption of AI across client delivery and internal operations. He added that the operational integration of Encora has been completed, positioning the company for another year of industry-leading growth.“The industry is moving beyond AI experimentation to what we call enterprise autonomy,” Singh said. “The next phase of value creation will come from embedding AI into the core of enterprise operations—decision-making, workflows and execution—rather than deploying isolated AI tools. Companies that can operationalise AI securely and at scale will create a sustainable competitive advantage.”He said clients are increasingly looking for partners that can move AI from pilot projects to measurable business outcomes.“Our growth and margin expansion demonstrate that customers are choosing differentiated capabilities and execution, not pricing,” he said.Coforge added 1,195 employees during the June quarter, taking its total headcount to 34,061. The company recorded a net addition of 10,451 employees over the past year. Attrition continued to moderate, with last-12-month (LTM) attrition declining to 10.4% in the June quarter from 10.8% in the preceding quarter.
