The singer was travelling to Chennai for a concert with Ilaiyaraaja on Sunday.According to Ananya, the flight was initially delayed because of bad weather, but after passengers boarded, they were informed of a technical issue once the aircraft reached the runway. “The flight was supposed to leave at 5.15 pm but finally took off only at 11.15 pm. Some passengers got anxious because there were no proper updates,” she said.The singer added that the lack of communication made the situation more frustrating. “I could have reached Chennai by road in five hours. They could have either cancelled the flight or at least given us clear information,” she said.
